World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI)

Welcome to WASLI's Facebook page. We are an international association of sign language interpreters. On this page, we'll post regular WASLI updates, information about upcoming events in the interpreting world, and links to the WASLI newsletter.

Please post updates from your part of the world and share your news with us! Posts should relate to signed language interpreting and the deaf communities with whom we work; any inappropriate or unrelated posts will be removed.
Video posts should be captioned or subtitled unless in a signed language. However if you do not have the technology for adding captions or subtitles, please include a transcript or synopsis as a comment after the posting.
Please label photos with the event name.
We recognise that not all of our members and supporters are English speakers. In the future we aim for WASLI to be on Facebook in other languages too. If you are interested in volunteering your service as a translator into other written languages, please contact Rafael Treviño, Translation Department Coordinator, at translations@wasli.org
